CARMEL JUNCTION, Utah-Thursday, the Millard boys and girls cross country squads each took Region 18 titles at the Thunderbirds Golf Course.The Millard boys earned the title with a score of 27. Beaver placed second with a score of 69, Parowan placed third with a score of 75. Kanab finished fourth with a score of 87 and Enterprise placed fifth with a score of 92.Winning the boys individual Region 18 championship was Kanab senior Nathan Bowman in a time of 17:07.40.His Cowboys teammates finished as follows:Sophomore Daxton Jones (14th place, 19:22.30), sophomore Jackson Clark (17th place, 19:47.30), sophomore Logan Little (28th place, 21:15.60), freshman Mason Kimanski (29th place, 21:17.90), freshman Nathan Unsworth (35th place, 23:47.20), junior Kaden Barber (39th place, 26:50.50) and sophomore Nathan Jantz (40th place, 26:54.80).Millard’s region title was won by virtue of various strong finishes.The Eagles were led by sophomore Michael Ralphs (2nd place, 17:21.60).His Millard teammates finished as follows:Sophomore Camden Moat (4th place, 17:34.80), senior Marcor Maxfield (6th place, 18:18.80), sophomore Owen Josse (7th place, 18:19.20), junior Kaydn Frampton (8th place, 18:19.70), junior Zach Rawlings (16th place, 19:24.90), freshman Travis Whitaker (18th place, 19:57.00) and senior Tyson Schwartz (27th place, 21:12.70).Beaver was paced by third-place finisher, junior Jason Cardon (17:26.40).His Beavers teammates finished as follows:Sophomore Koby Yardley (12th place, 18:48.90), freshman Jason Kerksiek (15th place, 19:24.60), sophomore Ashton Bartlett (19th place, 20:08.10), junior Austin McIlnay (20th place, 20:10.50), sophomore Tyson Bartlett (26th place, 21:09.30), junior Brian Kerksiek (36th place, 24:13.50) and junior Robert Gonzalez (37th place, 24:22.10).For the girls, Millard took the crown by posting a score of 22.
