Looks like Realme is all set to launch its third phone in the country next month. The company has already started teasing the phone on its social media. So far, Realme has confirmed that the next phone will be the Realme 2 Pro, and it will be launching in September, but didn’t reveal the exact launch timeline of the phone. A new report coming from Mobile Indian claims that the Realme 2 Pro will be launching in India on September 28.This bit of information has reportedly been confirmed by the Realme CEO Madhav Sheth himself. “We are going to launch Realme 2 Pro within a month,” said Sheth. Realme 2 was launched on August 28, which means, Realme 2 Pro will go official on September 28.Alongside confirming the launch date, Sheth has also confirmed that the Realme 2 Pro will be priced under Rs 20,000. “It will be priced a bit higher than Realme 1 but less than Rs 20,000,” he said. This means that the Pro version will aim to take on the likes of some of the very popular phones in the market right now, like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Nokia 6.1 Plus and others.If the Realme 2 Pro is actually priced under Rs 20,000, this also means that the phone will be a much-upgraded version of the newly launched Realme 2 which comes with a starting price tag of Rs 8,990. The Realme 2 has been launched in the country for a starting price of Rs 8,990 for the 3GB/32GB storage version. The smartphone comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset with Adreno 506 GPU paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. Both the storage memory will be expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. On the software front, the Realme 2 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1. On the camera front, the phone sports a dual camera set up on the back consisting of a primary sensor of 13-megapixel primary sensor and a secondary sensor of 2-megapixel. On the front, the Realme 2 comes with an 8-megapixel sensor just as the Realme 1.
