Los Angeles police sought the public’s help today in identifying two girls photographed by a man arrested in January for illegally taking pictures of children at the Griffith Park. Sergio Perez, 52, of Los Angeles, was charged with misdemeanor counts of upskirting, child exploitation, possession of child pornography, loitering and child annoying, Los Angeles police said. Perez was taken into custody on Jan. 28 after a Griffith Park pony ride manager noticed his behavior and made a citizen’s arrest, Los Angeles Lt. Paul Vernon said. Armed with a search warrant, detectives from the Sexually Exploited Child Unit found 200 images of children on Perez’s digital camera, seized during the arrest. A black girl, 5-9 years old, with long corn-row braids with colored beads, wearing a burgundy crushed velvet dress and a mostly blue jacket, with black cowboy boots with white stitching.
